Who's the best this year? I think the Mount Notre Dame Cougars are definitely going to rock it out again this season!

lets get real here. you only won on a technicality last year, the ineptitude of 3 refs. without that shot 2 seconds after the buzzer you lose. if the ohsaa had any integrity they owould strip your title and give it to the rightful owners.

Agree with you about bad call. How many does that give Notre Dame? Unfortunately I thinks it gives them 5 to tie them with Delphos St. John's-who have been a state power for most of last 30 years and win with homegrown smaltown girls and no significant transfers-unlike a few teams in girls BB whose success is tainted by recruiting. You Know Who You Are. And 2 of them played in Div. 4 state final last year.

1st basketball AP polls are out and Delphos St. John's girls and boys are ranked in top 10-Girls #3 in Div. 4 and boys #7 in division 4. Girls only loss was in opener to Div 2 #1 Lima Bath. Boys only loss came to defending Div.4 champ and #1 New Knoxville by 4 points at New Knoxville-game was tied until New Knoxville scored with 5 seconds left. This early season success follows the state championship in fall by the football team that finished 2-8 year ago and made up of good # of sophmore starters. Delphos St. John won girls and boys state titles in B-ball in 2002 and football team was state semifinalist the following fall. Maybe Jays can match or top that this year. Go Blue Jays!
