University of Cincinnati recruit Yancey Gates recovered from a slow first half (6 points) to pour in 16 points in the third quarter. The 6-foot-9 senior added another 11 in the final quarter and overtime, giving him 33 for the game. Andrew Flint led the Braves with 20 points. The Cincinnati Enquirer
